Substitute Teacher

This position provides direct instruction and educational services to hospitalized children and adolescents in an acute care behavioral health setting to maintain or improve their academic performance. The role also assists patients in achieving a smooth post-Discharge transition back to their home school setting.

A high school diploma is required, though a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with preferred special education certification and a teacher's license. Candidates must possess skills for teamwork, effective communication with school personnel, and the ability to remain calm under stressful or emergency situations.
