Clinton Hill Community & Early Childhood Center, Inc. operates multiple preschool locations throughout the City of Newark.
Teachers hired for this position will be placed at one of our Newark sites based on program needs and candidate preference when possible.
Preschool Teachers implement curriculum with fidelity, observe and document children’s development, analyze assessment data, and collaborate with instructional coaches, family services staff, and program leadership to support continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (Early Childhood Education or related field preferred).
Valid New Jersey Preschool – Grade 3 Certification, or one of the following eligible credentials: Certificate of Eligibility (CE) Certificate of Eligibility with Advanced Standing (CEAS) Limited CE Minimum 3 years of classroom teaching experience with preschool-aged children preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education.
