Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher assists with curriculum and program planning for head start, reporting to the center director, and is responsible for ensuring a safe and clean work area and classroom environment. Key duties include implementing lesson plans, encouraging parent input, assisting with screenings, and integrating educational activities into classroom routines.

A minimum qualification is a high school diploma or ged, with no prior experience explicitly required. Candidates must possess a valid texas driver's license and obtain current adult and pediatric cpr and first aid certifications.
