Position Summary

Assist the Assistant Director, Academic Affairs with administrative undergraduate student matters. Advise prospective and current undergraduate students of requirements, courses, policies and procedures. Assess student academic progress. Assist with the management of undergraduate course scheduling process. Oversee additional projects related to undergraduate student matters as requested. Provide administration of departmental awards and support initiatives for curricular development. Process and manage student employee teaching-related appointments.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's Degree andPreferred Education:Master's Degree in Education, Administration or a related field.Required Experience:3+ years Relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience planning and administering activities, advising students and supervising staff.Preferred Experience:Experience with advisement and recruitment of undergraduate students.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to market programs, solve problems, and interact with individuals at all levels. Knowledge of word processing and database applications.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Knowledge of advanced functions for Google Suite and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $74,000.00. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
