Core responsibilities
The liaison provides face-To-Face consultation to classroom teachers to foster positive, trauma-Informed learning environments and assists in developing effective behavior responses for at-Risk students. This role also involves providing psycho-Educational support groups, liaising between families and schools, assisting with the iep process, and addressing specific mental health issues through individual or group therapy.
Requirements summary
A master's degree is required in fields like clinical psychology, counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy, or a related field with specific graduate coursework in behavioral health areas. A minimum of one year of experience treating individuals with mental health disorders is mandatory, and a valid driver's license is necessary.
