Summer Camp Counselor

The role involves inspiring and leading youth through engaging daily activities that promote growth, development, teamwork, and fun while ensuring the safety and positive engagement of campers throughout the day. Counselors will also plan and implement creative schedules, promote physical wellness, and foster social-Emotional growth by modeling positive behavior and ymca core values.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged equivalent and be at least 18 years old, with a minimum of one year of experience in camps or childcare preferred. Essential requirements include the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, flexible availability during program hours (Late may/Early june through august), and a commitment to safety and positive mentorship.
