This role involves leading energizing, fun, safe, and educational group dance classes, such as Salsa, Tango, and Ballroom, to support the YMCA's mission and goals. The instructor must also build community within classes, answer participant questions, and maintain accurate attendance records.
Candidates must possess required certifications including CPR, First Aid, AED, and a national group fitness certification, with additional specialized certifications preferred. At least one year of experience teaching group wellness classes is preferred, and specific YMCA certifications must be obtained shortly after hiring.

Instructs group classes in a safe, enjoyable, and positive environment that welcomes people of all skill and fitness levels. Effectively builds community within the class. Modifies class as needed to meet varied health, ability and cultural needs.
$25.00 - $37.00/hour
Friday evenings are required.
