MSW Social Worker Internship - 1st Year

The intern is responsible for facilitating weekly grief and loss support groups for caregivers and children who have lost a loved one, and providing support regarding grief triggers and strategies. Additionally, the role involves providing clinical assessment, case management, and grief education workshops for community partners as needed.

Candidates must be entering the first year of a master of social work program in the next academic year and should possess good interpersonal and communication skills with a genuine desire to work compassionately with the community. Experience working with youth or caregivers is preferred, as is bilingual/Bicultural ability.
