Building Substitute Teacher

The substitute teacher will be responsible for managing classroom behavior, creating a positive learning environment, and delivering instruction by either following existing lesson plans or developing new ones aligned with curriculum goals when assigned for longer periods. Duties also include assessing student progress, using de-Escalation strategies, and collaborating with school staff.

Candidates are required to possess an ohio substitute teacher license or the ability to obtain one quickly, along with prior experience working in a school setting. A bachelor's degree is preferred, and college coursework in education, child development, or behavior management is mandatory.
