Child Care Teacher

The lead teacher is responsible for the care and supervision of children in their assigned age group, leading, planning, and organizing the childcare program activities to ensure high quality. This includes developing age-Appropriate curriculum, maintaining records, and supervising assistant teachers or aides.

Required qualifications include being child development or teacher qualified under minnesota rule 9503.0032 and obtaining current pediatric cpr certification within 90 days. Preferred qualifications include an associate of arts or bachelor of arts degree and one to two years of teaching experience in a childcare center or early childhood program.
