Hourly Pooled - Family Medicine Residency Programs Casper - Peer Recovery Specialist

The peer recovery specialist provides peer support services to patients with substance use disorders and mental illness, utilizing personal recovery experience to educate and role model recovery values. Essential duties include assisting patients in developing recovery goals and plans, collaborating with the integrated care team, and helping arrange necessary appointments and resources.

Candidates must possess a certified peer specialist certification or commit to obtaining one recognized by recover wyoming, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. A mandatory requirement is having personal lived experience with substance use disorder and/Or mental health challenges.
