Externship Coordinator

The externship coordinator is responsible for managing all interactions between students and externship sites for programs that include a practical work experience component, such as health sciences diploma programs. This involves setting up sites, determining student eligibility, maintaining communication, coordinating assignments, supervising progress, and managing timesheets.

Candidates should possess at least three years of work experience in a health sciences field, preferably with an associate degree or higher in medical assisting, nursing, or a related field. Required qualifications include reliable transportation, strong customer service skills, and proficiency with microsoft office components.
