Teacher Aide - Hourly

The teacher aide assists the lead teacher with classroom setup, preparing materials for activities and snacks, and directly engaging with the children through reading, playing, and supervising activities like bathroom breaks and playground time. Responsibilities also include maintaining classroom cleanliness, managing supplies, and ensuring student safety and dismissal procedures are followed correctly.

Candidates must arrive 20 minutes before class starts and maintain a professional, nurturing presence by never turning their back on the class while supervising students. Essential duties involve assisting with projects, managing behavior when necessary, and ensuring all cleanup tasks, including sweeping, vacuuming, and waste disposal, are completed before departure.
