Core responsibilities
As a crna, you will provide general and regional anesthesia services to patients under the supervision of an attending anesthesiologist. You will also prepare all necessary equipment and medications for perioperative anesthetic management.
Requirements summary
Candidates must have a doctor of nursing practice (Dnp) or a doctor of nurse anesthesia practice (Dnap) degree from an accredited program. Certification by the national board of certified registered nurse anesthetists (Nbcrna) and bls and acls certifications are required biannually.
