The primary role is to safeguard the welfare and security of students, staff, and visitors at a pre-and elementary school through vigilant patrolling and monitoring of the grounds. Candidates must be 23 years or older, possess previous security-related work experience, and hold valid Class D and G licenses, with Class W being an advantage. As an Armed Security Agent for our pre-and elementary school, your paramount role is to safeguard the welfare and security of students, staff, and visitors within the premises. Vigilantly patrolling and monitoring the grounds, you will maintain a safe atmosphere by enforcing access controls, promptly responding to emergencies, assessing potential risks, and utilizing surveillance systems. Your approachable demeanor will reassure students, while your adherence to firearm protocols and readiness to respond to imminent threats will contribute to a secure learning environment. Collaborative communication with stakeholders and participation in ongoing training will further elevate the safety measures you uphold, fostering a positive and secure setting for all.
Must be 23 years of age or older. Previous security-related work experience. Working knowledge of basic security techniques. Previous Military, Law Enforcement, and Government Agency experience is an advantage. High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University is a plus (not mandatory). Authorized to work in the United States Valid Class D License Valid Class G License Valid Class W License (an advantage). Must be able to pass a criminal/background check and must be able to pass a drug test spontaneously while employed. A minimum of CPR/First Aid/AED for all ages is required. Possess a valid and current driver’s license. Strong command of the English language (Others are an advantage). High Self-Confidence balanced with a reasonable amount of humility, strong leadership, and interpersonal relationship skills, very proactive, and outstanding attention to detail. Comfortable kneeling, carrying, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods. Ability to perform continuous physical exertion as needed. Successfully completed Pulmus7 Basic Training’.
