26-27 High School Dedicated Aide

The dedicated aide supports students with special needs by implementing dedicated aide services plans to make learning accessible, which includes supporting teachers with instruction, behavior plans, and collecting academic data. Responsibilities also involve assisting with personal hygiene, toileting, and meals when applicable, while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or ged and a commitment to working with students from underserved communities, demonstrating knowledge of reading, writing, and mathematics instruction, and strong communication skills. Preferred qualification is prior experience as an aide or paraprofessional in an urban k-12 public school setting.
