Region 1 - Vocational Support Advisor

The vocational support advisor plays a vital role in helping clients overcome employment barriers and achieve their short-Term and long-Term employment and training goals by connecting them with opportunities leading to sustainable jobs. This involves coordinating services with dvr/Dbvi, recruiting businesses for vr services, and educating clients and employers on accommodations and rights.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalency combined with experience working with people with disabilities or developing business relationships, along with a solid understanding of job search techniques and computer proficiency. Candidates must also obtain acre certification within six months and possess a valid driver's license.
