Core responsibilities
The swim instructor will provide skill-Based swim and water safety instruction to participants of all ages while maintaining constant supervision to ensure safety. Responsibilities also include evaluating student performance, completing necessary reports, and building positive relationships with students, parents, and caregivers.
Requirements summary
Candidates must be at least 16 years old and possess current wsi or ymca swim instructor certification, or have experience teaching swim lessons. Proficiency in swimming and safety skills, along with patience and strong communication abilities, are essential for success in this role.
