Afterschool counselor

The after school counselor implements program curriculum under director supervision, designing and executing daily lesson plans while ensuring the quality and safety of the program for children and parents. Counselors must fully engage with all children, assist with academic needs, maintain positive relationships, and adhere to all safety and record-Keeping procedures.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old and meet state-Mandated educational and experience qualifications, including obtaining cpr, first aid, and aed certifications within 30 days of hire. Previous experience working with children in a developmental setting and the ability to plan age-Appropriate activities are preferred.
