Youth Counselor

The counselor will supervise, protect, and care for adolescent clients individually and in groups, promoting self-Help skills in areas like hygiene, grooming, and positive behaviors. They will also provide day-To-Day supervision, assist with activities of daily living, and model positive youth development through incentives and feedback.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent for youth counselor i, or an associate degree for youth counselor ii, with one year of experience preferred for seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents. Valid cpr and proact certifications are required within 30 days of employment.
