Youth Counselor

The youth counselor will supervise, protect, and care for adolescent clients individually and in groups, promoting self-Help skills in areas like eating, hygiene, grooming, and positive behaviors. They will also provide day-To-Day supervision, assist with activities of daily living, and model positive youth development through praise and incentive systems.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent for youth counselor i, or an associate degree for youth counselor ii. Preferred experience involves one year working with seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents, and valid cpr and proact certifications are required within 30 days of employment.
