Youth Counselor

The youth counselor will supervise, protect, and care for adolescent clients individually and in groups, promoting self-Help skills in areas like hygiene, eating, and positive behaviors. This role involves providing day-To-Day supervision, assisting with activities of daily living, and modeling positive youth development through praise and incentive systems.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent for the yci level, or an associate degree for the ycii level, with one year of experience preferred when working with seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents. Candidates must also obtain valid cpr and proact certifications within 30 days of employment.
