The Speech Language Pathologist will collaborate with the special education teacher on scheduling, testing, and annual meetings, and provide current student lists for maintaining the master Special Education list. This role involves delivering specially designed instruction through resource room, inclusion, and/or pullout services to meet unique student needs.
The SLP works in collaboration with the special education teacher in the formation of daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings. The SLP also supplies the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists so he/she can maintain a master Special Education list. NHA provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from his/her disability such as, resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services.
Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology, or Communicative Sciences and Disorders, and Limited Speech Language Pathology License issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs LARA); or Speech Language Pathology license issued by the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA). Candidates with experience working with at-risk students is preferred, if applicable to the school.
