Counselor - Wellness Center

The counselor will provide confidential, short-Term mental health services including individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and outreach programming to support student wellbeing and academic success. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, managing acute mental health concerns, and collaborating with medical providers for integrated care.

Candidates must possess a master’s or doctoral degree in a related mental health discipline and hold current, active licensure in new york state as an lmhc, lmsw, lcsw, lpc, psychologist, or equivalent. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing individual therapy, with demonstrated competency in risk assessment and crisis intervention, is required.
