Substitute School Nurse

The substitute school nurse will provide direct nursing care to students based on individual health needs, administer prescribed medications, and assess student health conditions, including providing first aid and emergency care when necessary. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate health documentation, serving as a liaison between various parties, and educating staff on health procedures.

Candidates must possess a degree from an accredited nursing program, preferably a bachelor of nursing, and hold an active registered nurse (Rn) license in michigan, along with valid cpr certification. A minimum of one year of nursing experience is required, and applicants must reside within a 45-Minute commute to ensure timely on-Site coverage.
