Newcomer/ELD Teacher *2026-2027 School Year

This role involves providing direct instruction in english language development, mathematics, and other content areas, including social-Emotional learning, to newcomer students in a multi-Grade setting. The teacher will also offer primary language support in spanish as needed, orient students to u.s. Schools, and prepare them for transfer to their home schools.

Candidates must possess a valid california teaching credential and demonstrate thorough knowledge of spoken and written english, including grammar and language forms. Familiarity with second language acquisition research and experience utilizing equity-Based methods with english learners and students of color is required.
