Duties & Responsibilities

Provide clinic and event coverage as assigned by Head Athletic Trainer Prevention of injuries and Illnesses Evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses Consultation and education of students Daily record keeping and documentation Collaborating with other healthcare professionals Supervise work study students Maintenance of clinic Follow OSHA guidelines Follow HIPAA and FERPA regulations and guidelines Assist with maintenance of Policies and Procedures Manual Assist with maintenance of budgets, records and reports Assist with education of staff and students Other duties as assigned by Head Athletic Trainer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree AND/OR Master’s Degree. BOC certification required. Virginia State Licensure required (must be obtained within 4 months of being hired). CPR/AED certification required. Mental Health Training recommended (can be obtained after hired).

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree, along with current BOC certification. Virginia State Licensure is mandatory (must be obtained within four months of hiring), and CPR/AED certification is required.
