Core responsibilities
The behavioral health tech is responsible for providing support and care to meet the physical and psychological needs of children recovering from crisis. This includes one-On-One support, facilitating skill-Development groups, and assisting clinical staff.
Requirements summary
A high school diploma or g.e.d. Is required, along with at least 1 year of experience in behavioral health or crisis services for children. An aa or ba degree is preferred, and candidates must be at least 18 years old and proficient in reading, speaking, and writing.
