START Family Mentor

The family mentor provides peer support to families navigating child welfare and treatment systems, promoting healing and safety. They work as part of a team to deliver intensive wrap-Around services to families with substance use disorders.

Candidates must have strong communication skills and a commitment to working with families and children. A minimum of two years of recovery from a substance use disorder and familiarity with the child welfare system are required.
