- Purpose: - The BA/BS Counselor for Potentials Program (Youth Based Intervention Services) at LifeStream is responsible for providing comprehensive counseling services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to support their mental health and well-being. The role involves assessing client needs, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to help clients achieve their personal and therapeutic goals.
- Key
- Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough assessments of clients to understand their mental health needs and challenges. - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs. - Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques. - Monitor and evaluate clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders to coordinate care and provide holistic support for clients. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in counseling practices. - Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in emergency situations. - Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and available resources. - Contribute to the development and implementation of community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.

- Education: - Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
