  • Purpose: - The BA/BS Counselor for our Outpatient Adult Substance Abuse Program is responsible for providing high-quality counseling services to clients, assisting them in overcoming personal, behavioral, and mental health challenges. The role involves developing and implementing treatment plans, conducting assessments, and offering therapeutic support to promote mental well-being and personal growth.

  • Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans. - Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. - Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to coordinate care and support for clients. - Maintain accurate and confidential records of all client interactions and treatment plans. - Participate in regular supervision and professional development activities to enhance counseling skills and knowledge. - Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and coping strategies. - Adhere to ethical and legal standards in the provision of counseling services.
