- Purpose: - The BA/BS Counselor at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing comprehensive counseling services to clients, utilizing evidence-based practices to support their mental health and well-being. This role involves assessing client needs, developing personalized treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions to promote positive outcomes.
- Key
- Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans. - Provide counseling services using evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to client care. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting progress and any changes in treatment plans. - Participate in case conferences and contribute to the development of best practices within the center. - Offer crisis intervention and support to clients in emergency situations. - Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available resources. - Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health counseling and integrate new knowledge into practice. - Uphold the ethical standards and confidentiality requirements of the counseling profession.
- QualificationsRequired
- Education: - Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.

- Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a counseling or mental health setting. - Experience working with diverse populations and age groups. - Previous experience in developing and implementing treatment plans. - Familiarity with crisis intervention and conflict resolution techniques.
