School-Based Mental Health Technician

The mental health technician provides direct client care, including in-Classroom social-Emotional counseling, crisis management, de-Escalation, and observation/Data collection. Responsibilities also involve assisting with classroom management and promoting trauma-Attuned interventions to support student stability.

Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field, along with at least two years of experience in a mental health setting, preferably working with children aged 5-18. Experience with crisis management and knowledge of mental illness treatment for acute children is strongly preferred.
