Adjunct Faculty are responsible for facilitating student learning by delivering assigned classes according to college policy and course objectives, utilizing technology to enhance instruction, and maintaining accurate student records and grades. They must proactively engage with students to impact learning positively and demonstrate strategies for engaging online learners.

Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for creating a learning environment that assists students in reaching their goals; and for providing effective instruction and assessment within the framework of common syllabi provided.

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
Previous teaching experience is required. College-level teaching experience preferred.

Qualified candidates must meet specific educational standards for teaching PHIL 101, PHIL 102, PHIL 213, or PHIL 220, generally requiring a Master's degree in Philosophy or a related field with 18 graduate credit hours in philosophy or ethics/religious studies. Previous college-level teaching experience is required, with college-level experience being preferred.
