University Student Teacher Supervisor (USTS) – Charlottesville, VA (Staff Wage)

The supervisor will provide supervision to student teachers in clinical placements, which includes facilitating meetings with mentor teacher/Student teacher pairs and conducting multiple in-Person and video observation cycles per semester. They must also communicate student progress to the teacher education faculty and staff, utilizing web-Based observation tools for targeted feedback.

A bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of full-Time prek-12 teaching experience in public schools are required, along with knowledge of current best practices and a current or previous professional teaching license. Applicants must be comfortable using technology, including web-Based observation tools and learning management systems, and possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
