Addiction Counselor - Adult Population

The role involves participating as a team member to deliver substance-Use disorder services, including conducting individual, group, and family counseling and educational sessions for clients and their families. Key duties also include completing psychosocial assessments, individualized treatment plans, and primary case management for designated clients.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, with a master's preferred, and must obtain illinois certified addiction counselor (Cadc) or illinois licensure (Lsw/Lpc) within two years. Essential requirements include excellent communication skills, computer proficiency for ehr documentation, the ability to establish rapport, and skills in conducting various forms of counseling.
