Behavioral Health SAP Counselor (School Program)

The counselor will provide behavioral health services to identified students within a school setting, coordinating student assistance programming and collaborating with other treatment providers. Key duties include assessing student needs, providing individual and group support sessions, managing cases, and maintaining clinical records according to agency policies.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in a related field and must qualify as an mhp or higher per illinois department of mental health rule 132, with knowledge of dsm diagnoses. Required qualifications also include excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, the ability to complete electronic documentation, and possessing a valid driver's license and personal transportation.
