Addiction Counselor- Women's Residential Program Sioux City

The addiction counselor will serve as a primary counselor in a multidisciplinary team, delivering substance use disorder treatment services to clients and their families, and facilitating recovery integration into daily living. This role involves developing individual treatment goals, documenting progress in the electronic medical record, and utilizing evidence-Based therapies in all sessions.

Candidates need a minimum of a tcadc/Cadc, lbsw, lmsw, tlmhc/Lmhc, or equivalent licensure, or an associate's degree plus a tcadc/Cadc, with a bachelor's degree preferred in a related field. Essential requirements include excellent communication skills, proficiency in conducting various counseling types, and the ability to manage documentation accurately and independently.
