Upper School English Teacher

The teacher will be responsible for teaching six classes of english and writing to high school students, which includes planning, delivering instruction, and facilitating active learning experiences. Key duties also involve assessing student development, maintaining records, contributing to department rigor, and serving as a student advisor.

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in english or a related field, with a master's degree being preferred, and possess at least three years of high school teaching experience, ideally in independent schools. Exceptional written and oral communication skills, along with the ability to align with the school's mission, are essential.
