Landon is seeking a qualified and motivated Athletic Trainer to provide parental leave coverage from August 14, 2026 through October 5, 2026. This is a temporary position with hours that vary based on athletic coverage needs, including practices and competitions. This position reports to the Head Athletic Trainer and the Athletics Director.
Include Providing athletic training services for assigned athletic teams, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation Covering practices and home athletic contests as scheduled Communicating effectively with coaches, student-athletes, parents/guardians, and medical professionals Maintaining accurate injury and treatment documentation Assisting with emergency action plans and return-to-play protocols Schedule Hours will vary depending on coverage needs
Current certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) MD state licensure (or eligibility) as required CPR/AED and First Aid certification Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience in a secondary school or collegiate setting preferred, but not required
