The speech and language pathologist is responsible for providing speech and language assessment and therapy to students according to their individualized family service plan or individual education plan. This includes planning interventions, monitoring progress, assessing oral motor development, and participating in consultative processes with parents and team members.

Requirements summary

Candidates must possess a master's degree in speech and language pathology and hold a current ny state license, asha certificate of clinical competency, and nysed certification as a teacher of speech and hard of hearing (Tshh). One year of prior speech therapy experience is preferred, and candidates must be available to work monday through friday from 8 am to 3 pm.
