Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

The behavior technician applies empirically based behavioral principles to all clients and functions as an integral part of the treatment team, ensuring timely completion of all necessary documentation. Responsibilities include implementing individualized treatment plans, teaching clients various skills, and consistently applying behavior plans to reduce inappropriate behaviors.

Candidates must possess a high school diploma, preferably with some college, and must either be a registered behavior technician or obtain certification within three months of hire. Strong communication, leadership, technical, analytical, and organizational skills are required, along with the physical ability to manage client behaviors, including lifting up to 50lbs and utilizing crisis management procedures.
