Core responsibilities
The behavior technician will work directly with clients to shape behavior using science-Backed strategies, collect progress data, and execute standardized assessments under the direction of a supervising behavior analyst. They will also engage in supervision, potentially lead projects, and collaborate with other therapy disciplines to support the whole child.
Requirements summary
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or ged, complete a minimum of 40 hours of rbt training, pass the national board exam for bacb registration, and hold current cpr & first aid certification. Reliability, patience, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in active environments are essential.
