Core responsibilities
The successful candidate will primarily teach courses in the bachelor of social work program on the tupelo campus, with potential assignments on other campuses or in the developing online msw program. Responsibilities also include maintaining expertise, engaging in research/Scholarship sufficient for graduate teaching faculty recognition, assisting with student success, and serving on departmental committees.
Requirements summary
Applicants must possess a master of social work (Msw) and hold or be eligible for social work licensure (Lmsw or lcsw) in mississippi, along with a minimum of two years of post-Msw social work practice experience. Preference is given to candidates with a history of developing and teaching at the higher education level.
