IDD Habilitation Specialist

The specialist will teach individuals and staff, write programs focused on self-Esteem, independence, and social valorization, and conduct quality assurance assessments for program effectiveness. Responsibilities also include evaluating clients' adaptive behavior levels and developing personal outcome programs based on team priorities.

Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in social work, social services, special education, psychology, or a related human services field, along with one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A valid driver's license, the ability to pass background checks and drug screening, and strong report writing skills are also required.
