Lead Counselor

The lead counselor functions as part of the cua team, aiming to improve the safety, permanency, and well-Being of children, youth, and families. Responsibilities include conducting weekly meetings with assigned youth, facilitating volunteer work, and training youth leaders for community advisory roles.

Minimum qualifications require a high school diploma or ged, along with mandatory certifications including adult and pediatric cpr, pa child abuse clearance, mandated reporter training, fbi clearance, and pa criminal clearance. A health assessment and tb test are also required.
