Academic Advisor

The academic advisor provides direct, personalized service to students to strengthen their academic skills and foster a sense of belonging, channeling student concerns and referring them to appropriate offices as needed. Essential duties include managing academic curricula, identifying and planning interventions for at-Risk students, and guiding students in developing short and long-Term study plans.

A bachelor's degree in education or a related field from an accredited university is required, along with a minimum of two years of experience in student advising. Candidates must possess a high degree of confidentiality, accuracy, organization, and effective interpersonal skills for teamwork, with proficiency in both spanish and english communication.
