The behavior technician applies behavioral principles to clients and implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of behavior analysts. They also assist clients in acquiring various skills and maintain necessary documentation.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably some college education, along with the ability to become a registered behavior technician within three months. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are also required.
