- Overview: Academy ABA is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team. As an RBT, you will work directly with children and adults under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect data, and provide direct support to clients to help them develop valuable life skills.

- Responsibilities: Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skill acquisition programs under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in a clinic setting. Collect and record data on client behavior, skill progress, and treatment outcomes. Collaborate with families, BCBAs, and other team members to ensure effective service delivery. Provide support and encouragement to clients, ensuring a positive and engaging therapy environment. Communicate effectively with families and caregivers regarding client progress, needs, and behavior. Attend and participate in regular team meetings and supervision sessions. Ensure all ABA services are delivered in alignment with ethical standards and professional guidelines.
- QualificationsQualifications:
- Minimum
- Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent required. For those interested in becoming an RBT, candidates must either hold a current RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or be hired as a Behavior Technician (BT) with the understanding that they must complete the 40-hour RBT training and obtain certification prior to starting the role. Must be able to lift and support clients. Reliable transportation. Experience working with individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. Passion for working with children and making a positive impact in their lives.
