Conduct thorough bio-psycho-social assessments and provide treatment recommendations for children, adolescents, and adults. Collaborate with community providers, school staff, and medication providers to coordinate care and support.
Requires a master's degree in psychology, social work, rehab counseling, or education/counseling and NH licensure or eligibility. LICSW or LCMH licensing is preferred, along with experience working with children and families.
Our intake clinician provides thorough bio-psycho-social assessments to children and adolescents as well as supporting our adult department. The assessments include evaluation of mental health status, providing a social summary, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations. Case management includes an assessment of need with the child/adolescent/adult and family, and active collaboration with community providers and services. Additionally, our intake clinician provides intake assessments in schools, as well as provides consultation and collaboration with school staff. The intake clinician could also provide training to staff and/or parents at the school as well as opportunities for growth in the development of providing mental health support in the schools. · Basic understanding about mental health disorders and psychotropic medications · Ability to build and maintain rapport with children, adolescents, and their families · Culturally sensitive · Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
Qualifications: · NH licensure or license eligible
· Position requires a master’s degree in psychology, social work, rehab counseling or education/counseling from an accredited college or university.
Experience: · Prior work with children and families is a plus · Motivational Interviewing skills is a plus
· LICSW or LCMH licensing preferred. ·
